About The Game
In Tiny Laser Heist, you'll step into the shoes of criminal masterminds as you work together to steal valuable jewels from a highly secure museum. The goal is to outmaneuver the security systems, avoid triggering lasers, and earn the most cash by successfully completing heists. Think you have what it takes? Let’s dive into the details of how to play.
Game Setup
- Easy-assembly Laser Frame
- Museum Game Board
- Jewel Pedestal
- 4x Heist Jewels
- 6x Tiny Hands
- 10x Security Lasers
- 28x Colorful Padlocks
- Skill Cards Deck (special powers + sabotages!)
- Money Cards Deck (trade in your jewels for $$$)
- Heist Bag for Padlocks
- Burglar Mask for the Mastermind
Detailed Game Phases
- As Mastermind, pick the jewel you want to steal and recruit other players to your heist team.Â
- You’ll need to assemble a team that has the right Heist Cards and is willing to work for an agreed-upon payout!
- Players not on the heist team can play Heist Cards – these usually physically sabotage your heist team, like forcing the Mastermind to cover one eye!Â
- Your heist team has 90 seconds to cooperatively use your tiny hands to get your jewel to the pedestal! But first, you’ll have to move any padlocks guarding it and place them on other stacks of padlocks.
- If you succeed, congratulations – your heist team splits the Money Cards as agreed upon. If you fail, no one gets paid!Â
Winning the Game
- At the end of each round, all players may draw a new Heist Card from the deck. If you weren’t part of the heist team, you may draw TWO cards.Â
- The number of Heist Cards in your hand may never exceed the number you started with at the beginning of the game. If you draw cards and have more than your original number, pick which cards to discard.
If the heist succeeded:
- Place the stolen jewel and its pillow into the room that started empty last round, then draw two new random padlocks from the bag and stack them onto it.
- The winning Mastermind places a new laser into the museum.
If the heist failed:
- Place any unstacked padlocks back into the bag (padlocks that remain stacked can stay).
- If needed, return the jewel to the room it started in.
- If fewer than two padlocks are on any jewel, add new random padlocks from the bag until each jewel has at least two padlocks.
- Place any triggered lasers off to the side with the others.Â
- Once the deck of Money Cards is gone, either through being paid out to successful heist teams or discarded after failed heists, the game ends. (In the case that there aren’t enough Money Cards remaining in the deck to pay out a final heist, add in as many facedown cards as needed from the discarded Money Cards in the box.)
- All players add up the values on their Money Cards, not the quantity of cards. Whichever player has the highest total value of money wins!Â
- In the event of a tiebreaker, the player with the highest quantity of money cards wins. If you’re still tied, we recommend a Tiny Hands arm wrestle to determine the victor.Â
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the game appropriate for everyone?
The content is, but the activity might not be — Tiny Laser Heist can be challenging! There’s probably not a lower limit on age (we designed it to be fun for adults even if tiny ears and eyes are around) but anyone under 8-10 might struggle with the logic aspect of the game.
What skills make you good at Tiny Laser Heist?
We think anyone can be good at Tiny Laser Heist, but you’ll be a pro if you’re good at negotiating and dexterity games. Operation players, you’ve got a head start!
How many players?
Tiny Laser Heist requires at least two people to team up and move the locks, so we recommend 3-6 players, whether you’re playing the base game or with the expansion pack. But, you can easily play with 7+ players, if people are willing to play as teammates!
What's included in the box?
Each Tiny Laser Heist Base Game includes:
- Laser Frame
- Museum Game Board
- Skill Card Deck
- Money Card Deck
- 6 Tiny Hands
- 10 Security Lasers
- 28 Colorful Padlocks
- 4 Jewels

Is the game cooperative or competitive?
Both! You'll have to team up with others to pull off heists since you'll each only have one tiny hand to move locks with (the cooperative side of the game) but you'll be in it for yourself (ultimately making your heist team your opponents) since the single winner is the person with the most money at the end of the game.
